Sir,
Upon the suggestions, conveyed by letter under reference to this Registry, being placed before the Committee of Hon’ble Judges, it has been directed that, on account of the alarming growth of positive cases of corona virus and its fallouts, the Supreme Court of India shall continue functioning through the Virtual Court system for the present, with further direction that the matters may be listed before Hon’ble Judge-in-Chambers as well as before the Court of the Registrar, through Virtual Court system only, to enable wider participation of Ld. Advocates.
It has further been directed to convey that the Committee of Hon’ble Judges will next meet on 30th June, 2020, or any other suitable date, for taking stock of the situation and consider additional data/opinion as may be obtained, with a view to further consider the suggestions/requests, as aforesaid.
Yours faithfully,
