Chennai HC quashed the Tamil Nadu State Human Rights Commission’s order that directed action against police for arresting research student Sophia after she raised slogans against BJP on a 2018 Thoothukudi flight with Tamilisai Soundararajan. Ravindran representing Sun TV Network Limited says Chennai Super Kings Limited has stopped using Rajinikanth starrer Jailer, Coolie and Jailer 2 songs after the television company sent an e-mail to it. He wants CSK not to infringe the copyrights in future. Senior Counsel P.S. Raman for CSK too says the songs were removed from the promos and that those songs will not be used without obtaining licence from the appropriate authorities. Judge records the statement and adjourns the hearing of the civil suit to Monday (March 16, 2026) for filing of an affidavit to that effect by CSK. @THChennai [13/03, 11:22] sekarreporter1: .
