*NEWS KING PASSED AWAY : RIP PRASAD SIR*_

Even the most beautiful words fall short to describe the gem of a person he was : Prasad Sir’s demise is an irreparable loss to all of us….

I’m deeply saddened to hear of the sudden and untimely demise of Reporter Prasad. I extend my deepest sympathies Prasad sir’s family and my heart goes out to everyone who loved him. This is such a huge loss to his beloved ones and his entire Media family.

Prasad Sir was a very knowledgeable and kind person. I have personally known him since past 15 years. My memory lane takes me back to a time four years back when he had a chest pain in the High Court Campus. I offered to help him get to the hospital but he refused at first. So I had to take the help of one of his in order to admit him to the hospital and lateron he got fully recovered.

Prasad Sir was in fact a human library of recent High Court judgements. Whenever I have asked him for any latest judgment, he would inform me about the same in no span of time and that too without any reference. That is how he was, truly a reservoir of knowledge and talent.

He was a keen observer and quick learner. He was very meticulous about what he delivers to the public through journalism. His dedication towards his occupation was commendable. His commitment was so much that he even stays late in the High Court Campus like till around 8 pm every day be it the weekdays or the weekends. He never missed any day. During the days when I was working as the AGP, he was always present in the Court whenever there was any urgent case hearings.

Earlier everything was handwritten which was followed by a proof reading, correction etc. But lateron with digitization, it got revamped into the online modes through computers in which everything gets published in the very next second itself. And he got adapted to this new system so well and very quickly. He has genuinely left a mark of himself in the minds of people who had witnessed his journey. And I was fortunate to be one among them.

On behalf of the IPR Attorney Association, once again I extend my heartfelt condolences to Prasad Sir’s family and loved ones. Prasad Sir, you will be terribly missed. He was loved by all of us and he will be cherished in our memories forever.

May his great soul rest in peace in the heaven and I pray God Almighty to give enough strength to his family members to pass this hard time.
