State of TN & another] 2/4 For Writ Petitioner : Mr.Kabilan Manohar for Mr.P.Raja For Respondents : Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayan Government Pleader O R D E R (Made by Dr.Vineet Kothari,J) The petitioner has made a prayer in the present case that the respondent State has not provided the relief in terms of Section 12 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005. Learned Government Pleader however submitted that the petition has been fled without making proper research in the matter and the State has issued various relief packages for the beneft of the afected persons. In these circumstances, we direct the petitioner to approach the second respondent Tamil Nadu State Disaster Management Authority through its Commissioner, Commissionerate of Revenue and Disaster Management, to make a representation to him ascertaining the details of the relief packages announced by the State Government in the matter, and upon obtaining the information, if the petitioner feels that the guidelines under Section 12 of the aforesaid Act are not satisfed, he can fle an affdavit to that efect in the matter and then argue the case.
