  Mr. Sanjai Gandhi has been appointed as a member in the Intellectual Property Centre in the National Law University of Vishakapatnam (DSNLU). This centre is associated with WIPO and PCT Roving Conference. Through the membership that he has gained, Mr. Sanjai Gandhi aims to get more involved in research.. Currently, he has been appointed as the Nodal Officer of the geographical Indications of products by Government of Tamil Nadu. He has successfully registered 20 GI products in Tamil Nadu. He received the national IPR award in 2018. He has written two books regarding the subject and has also taken training at Japan for IPR International system..
