Chief Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava and Justice G. Arul Murugan have restrained Tamil Nadu State Highways Authority (TANSHA) from issuing work order, till February 12, to the successful tenderer for the East Coast Road (ECR) elevated corridor project in Chennai. Passes the interim order on a writ appeal filed by Bhopal based Dilip Buildcon Limited against the dismissal of its writ petition by Justice P.T. Asha. The single judge had refused to interfere with the tender proceedings though the disqualified petitioner company had accused TANSHA of showing favouritism towards Hyderabad based KNR Constructions
