We live in a Cyber-age. An age which is dominated by the worldwide application of computers, internet and the information technology. It is observed that a large variety of cyber-offences are committed on the internet.Similarly,business transactions are carried out by means of electronic communication, popularly called as E-Commerce. To take care of these developments, the Parliament has made some cyber-laws. The Information Technology Act, 2000 is an example of such a cyber law.
