[2/5, 13:12] N. Ramesh mhc Advt: Today 5.2.2020, press reporters case came up today before division Bench consisting of NKJ & PVMJ. On behalf of Chennai Press Club, rep. by its Jr. Sec., Barathi Tamizhan, their counsel N.RAMESH appeared. It was represented on behalf of press club that they are ready to hold elections and a civil suit and CRP are pending before this Hon’ble Court and a direction was already issued to hold election under the supervision of Retd. High Court Judge and the civil suit may be tagged along with this writ. It was also submitted that the proceedings should not be used to settling personal scores and counter has been filed making personal allegations against individuals. The Hon’ble Judge observed that such allegations will not be looked into and that only larger issue of correcting the system alone will be taken. Case adjourned to 12.2.2020.
