Some of you may know that I am taking treatment for blood cancer since October last in different hospitals. I am totally ruined physically and I am occasionally raising to the occasion to write at short and am unable to talk continuously at present.
Chemo therapy was not conducive for me at the initial stage and hence after recovering a sizable amount of mor than Rs.4 lacs from my source, I was given up in the middle of the road and taking now traditional Ayurveda and siddha medicines which are also on expensive side. Major portion of that medical expenses were borne by my well wishing friends. I am facing my last breath virtually and I am ready to cope up my end. Many of our friends may not know the reasons for my long absence in person since September last. My physical position was not permitting me to inform every one of our friends and also I could not instruct my relatives who are at minimal contacts due to my outspoken character. As you all know I am not owning any property and do not have any substantial savings and sources. Life has been a great teacher but I failed from that. I am very hesitant to get help from those who have not got my support for their ambitions and personal benefits. I have never been selficious at ant point of time. Even those who got timely rescue by me do not turn back. I understood that Life is so simple but swimming across is great burden. In that sense I failed in my life and honestly I am considered that I wasted my whole 69 years of life. My life makes me very shame to express such fact of my life. Certainly your help will be part of my life saving will be a lesson for all our friends to correct at the point where my fate met. Be vigilant friends.
On 27th I found my haemoglobin count was down by 5 suddenly from a standard upkeep of 11.6 to 12 and I lost my conscious. Some of friends have rescued me in ambulance to SRM hospital where I have been administered blood transfusion.On 28 and 29th, after many tests, two units of blood trasfuted. After a week, additional transfusion has to be performed to bring up the level atleast to 9 on safer side to survive. Donors are helping me by donating their blood but the Covid 19 virus blocks of transport and the immediate attention by reduced no.of staffs, made me to suffer a lot. If I was not transported on 27th my life would have vanished. From this day I can survive only by regular blood transfusion at a rate of one unit thrice a month. This is only can keep me alive amidst the full percentage of cancer cells which are eating my every life strengthening parts whatever medicine I take from native tradition presently. It seems the traditional medicines can be a supportive one.
Ok. I am not afraid of death. No body is immortal. I am also no exception. But I have not looked after my family with any conforts. At my last days I feel some adjustment has to be done for my wife settlement for her rest her life. I am not finding any source even for my treatment and the rest. Life is very miserable in the present structure. Let me welcome what it come. Life has become uncertain.
I may be in a condition to take farewell from all of you my friends. Our past days were very pleasant. With that memorable thoughts I shall cherish them till my last. Thank you all for showering love and affection on me.- KALAIMANI.T
