[21/07, 10:03] sekarreporter1: Today, I had the privilege of attending the 134th Anniversary Celebration of the Inauguration of the Madras High Court Building and the inauguration of the Senior Advocates’ Lounge, held at the High Court of Madras.

The occasion was graced by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sushrut Arvind Dharmadhikari, Chief Justice of the High Court of Madras, who inaugurated the Senior Advocates’ Lounge. The event was further honoured by the presence of Hon’ble Mr. Justice G. Jayachandran, Hon’ble Ms. Justice P.T. Asha, Hon’ble Mr. Justice C. Saravanan, and Hon’ble Mrs. Justice N. Mala, making it a memorable gathering for the legal fraternity.

The celebration served as a fitting tribute to the rich heritage and enduring legacy of the Madras High Court, one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions in the country. The inauguration of the Senior Advocates’ Lounge marks a significant addition to the infrastructure of the High Court and reflects the continued commitment towards enhancing facilities for members of the Bar.

I congratulate the Madras High Court Heritage Committee, the Tamil Nadu Senior Advocates Forum, and all the Bar Associations associated with this initiative for organizing such a meaningful event. It was an honour to be part of this historic occasion celebrating the traditions, excellence, and legacy of the Madras High Court.
