I. Periyasamy and his family members filed a writ petition challenging ECIR/CEZO-II/17/2025 and the show cause notice issued by the Adjudicating Authority. The matter came up before the Hon’ble First Bench comprising the Hon’ble Chief Justice and Justice Arul Murugan. After hearing, Mr. John Sathyan, learned Senior Counsel, appeared on behalf of the counsel on record for Periyasamy and others. The Hon’ble Court directed the Enforcement Directorate, represented by Special Public Prosecutor Mr. P. Sidharthan, to take notice and file a reply on or before 05.01.2026.
