Written submissions to be filed within a week [11/23, 17:51] sekarreporter1: Today in the Quo Warranto writ petition filed against Hon’ble Ministers Udhayanidhi Stalin and P.K. Sekar Babu and Hon’ble MP A. Raja, the Hon’ble Mrs. Justice Anita Sumanth reserved the matter for orders after hearing the arguments in reply of Mr. P. Wilson Sr. Advocate for Mr. Udhayanidhi Stalin, Mr. R. Viduthalai Sr. Adv. for Mr. A. Raja and Mr. N. Jyoti Sr. Adv. for Mr. P.K. Sekar Babu. The Hon’ble Court has granted one week‘s time for filing written submissions. In reply to the submissions of Mr. G. Rajagopalan who argued that the DMK leaders are speaking against Hindus, Mr. Wilson said that the majority of the State and even the majority of the DMK’s cadres are Hindus and that it is the Hindus who have elected the DMK. He further retorted that those who cannot beat NOTA need not claim to be representatives of Hindus. He further pointed out such submissions reveal that this writ petition is a political battle and appealed to the Court to not allow the Court to be used for political and ideological battles.
