கரூர் மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள கோயில்களைப் பாதுகாக்க அதிகாரிகளுக்கு உத்தரவிடக் கோரிய மனு மீது, இந்து சமய மற்றும் அறநிலையத் துறை (HR மற்றும் CE) ஆணையர் மற்றும் கரூர் மாவட்ட ஆட்சியரிடம் சென்னை உயர் நீதிமன்றம் திங்கள்கிழமை பதில் கோரியது .

நீதிபதிகள் அனிதா சுமந்த் மற்றும் நீதிபதி சி. குமரப்பன் ஆகியோர் அடங்கிய டிவிஷன் பெஞ்ச், மனிதவளம் மற்றும் பொதுப் போக்குவரத்துத் துறை ஆணையர் மற்றும் கரூர் கலெக்டர் ஆகியோர் பின்வரும் விவரங்களுடன் கூட்டுப் பிரமாணப் பத்திரத்தை தாக்கல் செய்ய உத்தரவிட்டது: கோயில்களின் பெயர்கள், நிர்வாக அதிகாரிகள் மற்றும் அறங்காவலர்கள் பற்றிய விவரங்கள். கோயில் பதிவுகள் மற்றும் வருவாய் பதிவுகளின் அடிப்படையில் சர்வே எண்களுடன் கூடிய நில உடைமைகளின் அளவு குறித்த விவரங்களை நீதிபதிகள் கோரினர்.
கோயில்களுக்குச் சொந்தமான நிலங்களில் ஆக்கிரமிப்பாளர்கள் யாராவது இருந்தால், அவர்களின் விவரங்களையும், ஆக்கிரமிப்புகளை அகற்றுவதற்கு எடுக்கப்பட்ட நடவடிக்கைகளையும் நீதிபதிகள் கோரினர்.
மேலும், மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள ஒவ்வொரு கோயிலின் நிர்வாக அதிகாரிகளும், கோயில் பதிவேடுகள் புதுப்பித்த நிலையில் உள்ளன என்றும், தமிழ்நாடு இந்து சமய மற்றும் அறநிலையத் தொகைச் சட்டம், 1959 மற்றும் தொடர்புடைய விதிகளின் கீழ் நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்ட விதிமுறைகளின்படி பராமரிக்கப்படுகின்றன என்றும் பிரமாணப் பத்திரம் தாக்கல் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்றும் நீதிபதிகள் உத்தரவிட்டனர்.
இந்த வழக்கில் பிரதிவாதிகளாக சேர்க்கப்பட்டுள்ள 14 கோயில்கள் உட்பட 20 கோயில்கள் தொடர்பான விவரங்களை அக்டோபர் 29 ஆம் தேதிக்குள் வழங்க வேண்டும் என்று நீதிபதிகள் உத்தரவிட்டனர்.
