His Lordship’s journey in this profession began as any other lawyer, and with his constant dedication and extensive practice his lordship was elevated as the Judge of the Hon’ble Madras High Court on 5th October 2016.

His Lordship’s contribution to the judiciary over the span of almost 10 years, particularly to the Madras High Court, will remain a matter of enduring respect and admiration among the legal fraternity and the public alike.

Throughout his tenure on the Bench, Hon’ble Justice R. Suresh Kumar earned the reputation of being a judge deeply committed to constitutional values and the rule of law. His judgments reflected clarity of thought, balanced reasoning, and profound legal insight. Whether dealing with matters involving constitutional principles, public administration, civil disputes, commercial issues, or individual rights, His Lordship approached every case with patience, fairness, and judicial discipline.
