Senior Counsels Mr. S.R. Rajagopal and Mr. S.R. Sundar appeared for the Appellants, while Senior Counsels Mr. T.R. Rajagopal and Mr. Abdul Hameed represented the Respondents. Earlier on 21.05.2026, pending further consideration of the matter, the Hon’ble Division Bench was pleased to direct the learned Advocate Commissioners not to disburse the sum of Rs.10.62 crores without obtaining the leave of the Court , the Hon’ble Mr. Justice P. Velmurugan and Hon’ble Mr. Justice K. Govindarajan Thilakavadi of the Madras High Court reserved orders in the appeals.
