- Next story Advocate-general Vijay Narayan submitted that the case of all the convicts was strictly considered in accordance with the GO dated February 1, 2018, by the home (prison IV) department. Three convicts involved in the case were released in 2008 and no law and order issue had arisen despite them being outside for the past 10 years. He further submitted that the secretary of home department followed the GOs in letter and spirit and applied the same for each convict.
