was listed today, May 15, 2025, before the Hon’ble High Court, Madras (Vacation Bench), for admission as item no.4 ( List-2)

On behalf of the CBFC, Shri. K.RAMANAMOORTHY Senior Central Government appeared and circulated the details of Objectionable portion was deleted and replaced. During the court proceedings, the song in question was played in open court on behalf of Respondents 3 and 4. However, the petitioner’s side has made objections to the tune, requesting it be muted.

Subsequently, on behalf of the 3rd and 4th Respondents, after receiving instructions from their client, an oral undertaking was given to mute the objectionable portion. The sound engineer has commenced work to implement this. The Hon’ble Division Bench has duly recorded this undertaking and to release the movie as per scheduled.

Upon the petitioner’s request, the subject matter has been posted for passing the final judgment tomorrow, May 16, 2025.
