Madras high court advocate Arul Moli Advt: I also tried to maintain plain background. But after seeing many lawyers not following it i have given up the condition.

[12/30, 10:06] Sekarreporter 1: [12/30, 09:57] Adv Suryaprakasam APS: We scold our children for watching i pad and laptop for watching non stop for ours together. But we want our judges to watch the display screen set up in court halls for more than 7 hours a day. This video conference system has surely damaged the health of court staff who are working from court halls during case hearings
[12/30, 09:58] Adv Suryaprakasam APS: Hours together typo error
[12/30, 10:05] Adv Suryaprakasam APS: Brightly illuminated LED tv screens inside court halls surely will spoil the eyes of the people who view the proceedings for hours together. Too much noice and echo from the tv surely will damage the eyes of people who are forced to watch the screen inside the court halls. In fact I found it horrible and torturous inside the court hall when I went to high court to appear in person

My opinion is that
we must have Physical hearing. I see lot of difficulties for many of our brothers and sisters in accessing to VC and creating a neat back ground. There is yet another reason for me to prefer VC. Seniors and wealthy lawyers do not care to follow the High Court instructions to maintain plain background. When they appear on screen sitting in huge library cum office it creates an impact on the psychology of our colleagues. It is not good. If we can arrange for systems to attend and create a common area in the court premises from where the lawyers who do not have facilities can attend , then it would be useful.
