Actor, director, producer, script writer, music composer and lyricist T. Rajhentherr has moved #MadrasHighCourt alleging copyright infringement of the songs composed by him for his 1983 blockbuster movie Uyir Ulla Varai Usha. It was in this movie, veteran playback singer K.J. Yesudas had sung the popular number ‘Vaigai Karai Kaatre Nillu, Vanchi Thanai Paatha Sollu.’ Mr. Rajhentherr says, the rights of the songs had shifted multiple hands over the last 43 years and was now being streamed in various digital platforms without paying any royalty to him. @THChennai
