The Election Commission of India extends the Claims and Objections period for the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls in Tamil Nadu till January 30.   However, there is no change in the date of release of the final electoral rolls.  It will be released as scheduled – on February 17.
