கட்டாயக் கல்வி சட்டத்தின் படி தமிழக பள்ளிகளில் பயின்று வரும் 25 சதவீத ஏழை மாணவர்களின் கல்வி கட்டணத்தை மத்திய அரசு 4 ஆண்டுகள் விடுவிக்காமல், கடந்த இரண்டு 2 மாதத்திற்கு முன்பு, 2 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு மட்டுமே விடுவித்தது. அந்த தொகையானது 2021 -2022, மற்றும் 2022 -2023 கல்வி ஆண்டிற்கு உரியது. ஏழை எளிய மாணவர்களின் கல்வி கற்றல் பாதிக்கக் கூடாது என்ற உயரிய எண்ணத்தில், தாயுள்ளம் கொண்ட நம் தமிழக முதல்வர் அவர்கள், உரிய காலத்தில் மேற்கண்ட இரண்டு கல்வி ஆண்டிற்கான நிதியை மாநில நிதியில் இருந்து வழங்கி விட்டார்கள்.
