SLP against dismissal of review petition by Madurai HC relating to the construction of an arch for the newly built market at Vadakku Valliyur Panchayat and the installation of Dr. Kalaignar’s statue in the arch was listed today before the Hon’ble Supreme Court Bench comprising Hon’ble Justice Vikram Nath and Hon’ble Justice Prashanth Kumar Mishra. After hearing the arguments of P. Wilson Senior advocate for State of TN, the Hon’ble Supreme Court was pleased to allow the State of Tamil Nadu to withdraw the Special Leave Petition to enable the State approach the Hon’ble High Court for appropriate reliefs.
