[12/11, 11:50] Sekarreporter: Two new Hon’ble Judges of the Supreme Court of India were felicitated by the All India Senior Advocates Association at Constitution Club, New Delhi. Participating in the said function, I appealed to the Honourable Union Law Minister @arjunrammeghwal, who presided over the function, to consider establishing Regional Benches of the Supreme Court and to raise the retirement age of judges of the High Court and the Supreme Court.
In response to my speech, Honble Union Law Minister @arjunrammeghwal replied that “Increase of retirement age from 62 to 65 years for the judges of High Court and 65 to 70 years for the Judges of Supreme Court are two good issues that Mr Wilson has flagged. The first request is noted. For the establishment of Regional Benches of the Supreme Court, the decision lies in the hands of the Supreme Court”

Mr R. Venkataramani, learned AG and Chairman of AISAA; Mr. @VTankha Vivek Tanka MP, Senior Advocate, Vice President of AISAA; and Mr Adish Aggarwala, Senior Advocate and Secretary General of AISAA, felicitated the two newly appointed Honourable Judges of the Supreme Court.
