[6/21, 12:57] Sekarreporter: [6/21, 11:55] Sekarreporter: Contempt petition filed by DMK for non implementation of order dated 27.7.2020 granting 69% reservations in state contributed medical and dental seats to All India quota came up for hearing and the Hon’ble first bench has posted for 28.7.2021 for hearing for want of time .The Central government in its counter has stated that the committee has given two options (a) follow state reservations (b) follow central reservations but subject to Parliament enacts on these seats of state government. The central government has said that after commitee decision, it is ready to implement state reservations on All India quota but wanted to place before Supremecourt in Saloni kumari case about its decision to grant reservations and it’s suggestions on it.
