Mdras Tax Bar is hosting an All Women Panel discussion on the topic ‘ Women Power in the Judiciary’ where the chief participants are three women sitting Judges of the Madras High Court Hon’ble Justice Pushpa Satyanarayana , Hon’ble Justice Anita Sumanth and Hon’ble Justice P.T. Asha .
Post Lockdown MTB initially decided to start some study sessions in indirect and direct tax laws through zoom app.
The first session was conducted on 11/04/2020 which had about 70 to 80 participants only from the Madras Tax Bar. Although it was a humble start ,
the sessions thereafter became very popular and several Senior advocates from Other Bars and States including Senior advocates from the Supreme Court addressed on various topics spanning from GST laws, Constitution and also Sarfaesi and IBC laws.
MTB webinars have participants from all over India .
So far MTB has completed 15 Valuable sessions which also include panel discussions .
As part of the MTB webinar series which has maintained its innovativeness throughout in conception and quality ,

The co-ordinators for the program are Ms.L. Maithili, Advocate, Madras High Court specialising in indirect taxes and Ms. Aparna Nandakumar Advocate and Senior Standing Counsel for the GST and Customs Department, Madras High Court .
