While I was on duty as Vigilance Inspector at Tirumala, I noticed that a video was uploaded on Instagram with the intention of creating misunderstanding and spreading false propaganda against TTD and Tirumala, disturbing public peace. The said video was circulated widely and created unnecessary confusion among devotees. The video link is as follows:
https://www.instagram.com/reel/DSXCXWEdIR/?igsh=MXhkOHVmZTY3EXdraw On verification, it was found that the video was misleading, fabricated, and intended to damage the reputation of Tirumala and TTD. Such acts are creating fear and unrest among the devotees and affect the sanctity of Tirumala. Based on preliminary enquiry and technical verification, the said video appears to be deliberately edited and uploaded to mislead the public. As part of the investigation, the concerned CCTV footage dated 16-12-2025, around 5.00 PM, was examined. The act amounts to spreading false information, provoking public unrest, and damaging the image of TTD and Tirumala. Therefore, necessary legal action may kindly be taken against the persons responsible for uploading and circulating the said video.
Relevant CCTV footage has been preserved and submitted in a pen drive for further investigation. Hence submitted for necessary action.
Yours faithfully,
