[20/05, 13:07] Tr Ramesh Temple Case: 1. TN Power Finance has accepted more deposits from Public that is beyond the permissible limits by Reserve Bank Of India.
2. This has been done by falsely showing Temple Funds and University funds as Government Funds.
3. TnPFC has flouted tax deducted at source of interest earned by Temples. This has put temples in serious trouble with Income Tax Department
4. TNPFC has invested only in TANGEDCO which has 160,000 Crores loss. Since TNPFC is NOT guaranteed by State Government, the deposits made by temples are subject to risks
5. Petitioner T R Ramesh sent notice 0n 19.01.2026 to HRCE and TNPFc within a month they amended the HRCE rules. But ₹2700 Crores of temple funds were already unlawfully depositted in TNPFC. These funds should be returned. Any loss to temples should be compensated by TN Govt
6. TNPFC has a BBB minus rating which is very poor.
7. TNPFC and TN Transport Development Corporation have violated Reserve Bank rules and these have been repeatedly pointed by Auditors
