Government Counsel (criminal side) R. John Sathyan says it was a mistake. Justice Swaminathan now goes into the merits of the habeas corpus petition which has challenged the Goondas detention order issued by Mr. Arun. Judge says an atrocious order has been passed by the IPS officer and the court intends to make some strong observations against him. He says the court wanted to put the officer on notice before making the comments and hence he had been summoned to the court today.
