Respected Sir/Madam,

1, G. Mohana Krishnan, Former President of the Madras High Court Advocates Association (MHAA), respectfully submit this representation regarding the polling arrangements for the upcoming Bar Council election scheduled on 30 March.

It is submitted that in the Madras High Court campus alone, thousands of advocates are expected to cast their votes. In view of such a large number of voters, the existing polling arrangements may lead to significant congestion, delays, and inconvenience to the members of the Bar.

In order to ensure a smooth, efficient, and orderly polling process, I humbly request the Committee to kindly consider increasing the number of polling booths within the Madras High Court premises. This will greatly facilitate easy access and help in avoiding overcrowding on the polling day.
