Today Writ Petition Criminal in W.P.29183/2018 and direction petition to not to harass in Crl.O.P.30367/2018 filed by One Mr.Ramamoorthy and Mr.Jaya Prakash against Hon’ble Minister Mr.K C Veeramani praying for Chief Minister to take action against the Minister under Prevention of Corruption act. This matter came up today before His Lordship Justice G K ilantharaiyan as item.82 for pronouncing orders. State was represented by State Public Prosecutor Mr.A.Natarajan. State PP vehemently opposed that this kind of petition should not be entertained and no offence is made out as alleged by the petitioner. State Pp also stated that already enquiry made by a competent authority and it has been closed as no offence has been made out and subsequently the very same petitioner also filed a suit against the Hon’ble minister for very same relief and therefore this writ petition is nothing but forum shopping and the same should not be entertained by this court. After hearing elaborate arguments Justice ilantharaiyan had reserved the case for orders and today justice pronounced the orders and dismissed both the Writ petition as well as Direction petition.
