They make the oral observation during the hearing of a public interest litigation petition filed by Vishwa Hindu Parishad office-bearer P. Chokalingam seeking a court monitored Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe into the recent aggravated sexual assault-cum-murder of a 10-year-old child in Sulur, Coimbatore. @THChennai
[29/05, 12:41] sekarreporter1: Advocate General Vijay Narayan says investigation has been fast tracked to ensure swift and speedy justice. He says, it is a horrific incident and that police are waiting for the DNA report before filing the charge sheet.
[29/05, 12:41] sekarreporter1: AG also says that the progress in the case is being monitored at the highest level.
[29/05, 12:41] sekarreporter1: When the petitioner's counsel counsel refers to several theories being floated on the social media regarding the Sulur crime, Justice Lakshminarayanan says, police would only be concentrating on the investigation of the crime and not on what's happening on Facebook or Instagram.

Justice Swaminathan says, one of his friends called him up and said, nothing had progressed against the sexual allegations against one Godman Sivasankar Baba. He says, police must speed up all sexual crimes against women and children. AG says, this government is keen on prosecuting such cases expeditiously.
