P.No.1009 of 2019 in WMP Nos.14266, 14267 & 14268 of 2019 in W.P.No.14210 of 2019 P.Krishnan. Admittedly, the order passed by this Court has got merged with the order of the Supreme Court and this Court cannot entertain the Contempt Petition at this moment. It is needless to mention that since the Apex Court has not stayed the hearing of the Writ Petition, there is no impediment for hearing and passing final orders in the Writ petition on merits.

  One Zahir Hussain who made allegation against the schemes of coimbatore corporation like solar plant, etc. he had also spoken very badly about Hon’ble Minister S P Velumani in voice message and circulated the same in facebook and whatsapp. This person has filed Bail application in Crl.O.P.1848/2020 and the same was listed as item 16 before Lordship Seshasayee in Court Hall.36 today. State PP A.Natarajan appeared for the police and vehemently apposed the Bail application as though how he can circulate these kind of things without verifying. Justice Seshasayee asked the petitioners what qualification this petitioner has ? How can he say solar plant will affect the human body. Whether he is highly and scentifically qualified to critize these schemes. Justice also stated that he will view this very seriously and this is not amounting to free speech and he must have more responsibility as a citizen
