  ஆளுநர், 24-12-2019 அன்று, சென்னை உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தில் பணியாற்றி ஓய்வு பெற்ற நீதியரசர் ச. ஜகதீசனை செயற்குழுவின் தலைவராக நியமனம் செய்து உத்தரவு பிறப்பித்தார். இதன் அடிப்படையில், நீதியரசர் ஜகதீசன், 27-12-2019 அன்று பதவி ஏற்றுக்கொண்டார். 2010 முதல் வடிவேல் முகுந்தன் என்பவர் இந்தப் பொறுப்பில் இருந்தார். தனக்கு வேண்டிய தகுதியற்ற நபர்களை குழுவில் இணைத்துக் கொண்டு, 2015 வரை பலவித முறைகேடுகளில் ஈடுபட்டு வந்துள்ளதாக தெரியவந்துள்ளது.
