Today, a Writ Petition filed by the Madurai District Bar Licencees Association, challenging the circular issued by the TASMAC with regard to collection and remittance of ₹10 per bottle as per buyback scheme, came up for hearing before his Lordship, Mr. Justice GR Swaminathan. His Lordship after hearing the arguments advanced by Shri Niranjan S Kumar, the Counsel for the petitioners and Shri Ravindran, additional advocate general of Tamil Nadu, who appeared for Tasmac, was pleased to allow the Writ petition and directed the state of Tamil Nadu and the Tasmac Authority to disburse ₹10 per bottle which was paid to the customers, by the Bar Licencees everyday to be reimbursed on the next day by the TASMAC
