Though Mr. Jayaraman, native of Bangalore but he is well versed in Tamil language also. He is the state authority for Civil laws and Civil Procedure Code as well. Many lawyers and judges take his submission as authoritative on the subject.
In 1972 he established
Tamilnadu Law Journl and till date he continued as its Chief Editor. He is very simple and very generous towards young lawyers and Briefing counsels.
" Guarding and Protector of MHAA"
SVJ a long time member of Madras High court Advocate Association.Eventhough after attaining Senior Robes, he never join another association.
Now, Another Senior Advocate in the MHAA is advocate A.E.Chellaih only.
It may remembered here, In his Eightieth Birth day MHAA organized a grand function, several judges and senior lawyers participate and praise SVJ as Doyen of Civil Laws.
