Sun TV network was felicitated for making the maximum donation towards ex service man welfare schemes .
Kendriya sainik board set under the ministry of defence undertakes several welfare schemes for the benefit of retired defence personnel. Over 37 lakh retired defence personnel are benefiting from these schemes . To collect funds for theses schemes kendriya sainik board had declared December 7 as the flag day and have been soliciting and encouraging corporates to come forward and donate to this noble cause as a part of their CSR initiative.

Sun TV network is one of the corporates in the forefront that has generously been donating for this noble cause that directly benefits our retired defence personnel who have selflessly served our nation , protected us and our land.

Sun tv network contributed 5 crores last year and followed it up with 1 crore this year making them one of the largest contributors . The others being state bank , AAAI , Coal India etc..

In the felicitation function held in delhi on Thursday , Sun TV network’s executive director Ms Kaveri Kalanithi Maran was honoured by the defence minister Mr Rajnath Singh .

Sun TV has been continuously donating and working towards the welfare of poor , downtrodden and for the entire society . Their contributions towards controlling corona spread , earthquake , flood and cyclone have been noteworthy. Sun TV network consistently provides cash and other assistance to the poor and needy .
