Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 438 of Cr.P.C. read with Section 482 of the BNSS, praying to enlarge the petitioner on bail in the event of apprehension of arrest in Crime No.101 of 2025 on the file of the Inspector of Police, D.2 Thiruvalangadu Police Station, Thiruvallur District.

ORDER

When the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-Police stated that the petitioner had absconded and not co-operating for the investigation in order to escape from the clutches of law and the present petition is filed seeking anticipatory bail. The petitioner was directed to appear before the Court and since he has appeared in person, he is directed to co-operate for the investigation being done by the Police. The respondent-Police is directed to conduct the investigation / enquiry, as the case may be and record the statement of the witnesses. List this petition for hearing on 26.06.2025. Since two of the accused had already been arrested, giving confession statement against the Additional Director General of Police, the respondent-Police is directed to secure and take action against the Additional Director General of Police in the manner known to law.
