Relief sought for was in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS to Direct the Respondents namely, the Executive Officer of
Arulmighu Sangameshwar Temple, Kottaimedu, Ukkadam, Coimbatore, to perform the
Temple Chariot Festival Annually from this year onwards regularly without interruption on
Thai Poosam and Chitrai Thirunal, with necessary police protection based upon the
Representation of the Petitioner dated 23.08.2024 and 30.12.2024, in accordance with law. The Date of Thai Poosam this year is 11.02.2025 and Chitra Festival this year is
10.05.2025. This is as per temple calendar.
