2.It is shocking to note that a person, who gave loan to the Petitioner’s
father took law into his hands and demolished the building owned by the
Petitioner’s father claiming to be an Advocate. Eventhough it was under the
occupation of 11 tenants at the time of the demolition, without getting any
approval from the appropriate authorities for demolition of the construction,
the building was said to be demolished.

action against the 5
th Respondent.
5.What has been stated by the Petitioner shocks the conscience of this
Court. A lawyer who is supposed to be a role model went to the level of
dispossessing a person of his property and demolish the building without
any approved plan. In view of that, to ascertain the correct facts, this Court
directs the Superintendent of Police to appoint an officer not below the rank
of Deputy Superintendent of Police to inspect the property and file a report
on the following:
(i)Whether the property was demolished on 24.05.2020 and
01.06.2020?
(ii)Whether any approved plan has been obtained by the 5
th
Respondent from the 4
th Respondent/local body to demolish the
building?
(iii)Whether the tenants and the Petitioner were forcibly evicted?
(iv)What is the action taken on the Petitioner’s complaints dated
26.06.2020, 24.08.2020, 02.02.2021, 05.02.2021, 22.05.2021,
24.05.2021, 31.05.2021, 11.06.2021 & 12.06.2021?
(v)What is the qualification of the 5
th Respondent and his antecedents?
(vi)Whether the 5
th Respondent is a regular practitioner or is carrying
on any business?
