On 30.07.2021, the election petition filed by DMK candidate S.K. Vetharathinam from 165, Vedaranyam Assembly Constituency to declare the election of former Minister Mr. O.S. Manian, AIADMK candidate as illegal and void came up for admission before Hon’ble Mr. Justice, V. Bharathidasan. Senior Counsel Mr. P. Wilson appeared for the petitioner in the above election petition. After hearing the main grounds for filing election petition, His Lordship ordered notice to the Respondents. The case is posted for further hearing on 06.09.2021.
