Pursuant to the orders passed by us on 18.05.2022, the 6th respondent/District Collector filed an affidavit stating that he has to collect details from the following officials:
(a) The Superintendent of Police, Tiruvannamalai (b) The District Revenue Officer, Tiruvannamalai
- The Divisional Engineer, Highways, Tiruvannamalai
- The Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruvannamalai
- The Tahsildar, Tiruvannamalai
- The Block Development Officer, Tiruvannamalai
- The above referred officials have to furnish fresh details regarding the encroachment of public land and any illegal construction or otherwise in the subject property. Thus, the District Collector has to collect the details and thereafter file a detailed report in the form of sworn affidavit before this Court regarding the allegations set out by the writ petitioner in the writ petition.
- In view of the facts and circumstances, we are inclined to grant an order of interim injunction restraining the 14th and 15th respondents from in any way laying or erecting a statue or putting up any further construction in the property bearing S.No.180/2B, New S.No.253/60, and its Subdivision in S.No.250/60C3, Vengikkal Village, Tiruvannamalai Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District and its surrounding area, pending disposal of the writ petition.
