The Bail application filed by the husband of TV serial actress Chitra came up for hearing before his Lordship Mr Justice V. Bharathidasan.Ms. M Prabhavathi Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing for the State represented that the initial report as per the prosecution suggest that this is a case of suicide as evidenced by the post mortem report. further investigation suggest that Chitra hastaken the drastic measure due to character assassination at the hands of the accused. The accused pressed for bail based on the investigation version. The Prosecutor informed the court that the nailclippings analysis is still pending and the telephone voice analysis is also sent to the forensic department and the same is expected on 10/2/21. The Prosecutor requested the matter to be posted on 12.02.2021.The court recorded the same and posted the matter to 11.02.2021.
