[2/3, 11:37] Senior Advt Wilson: Today Hon’ble first bench allowed to prosecute against RK Vats Secretary National Medical commission also for violating the Hon’ble first bench order dated 27.7.2020 . The Hon’ble first bench by order dated 27.7.2020 in the Writ filed by DMK has held that 69% reservations is permissible in All India Quota in the state surrendered seats in Medical and Dental courses and directed implementation of reservations of 50% for OBC for academic year 2021-2022 onwards and also directed to form committee.

The Hon’ble Supreme Court while entertaining appeal by the State Government against 27.7.2020 order refused to stay the order of Madras HC and directed to implement reservations in All India Quota in Medical and Dental courses for academic year 2021-2022. Since the order of Madras HC is not complied with, the present contempt is filed. The court has permitted to move the contempt.
