[6/11, 12:31] Sekarreporter 1: [6/11, 12:19] Senior Advt S Prabagaran: The Hon’ble Supreme court has heard the matter for reservation seeking to implement 50% of OBC Reservation in the state surrendered seats in All india Medical quota ( Other than Central Government Institutions) in Undergraduate, Post Graduate and Diploma Medical and Dental Courses for the year 20-21 in the state of Tamil Nadu.

Learned Senior Counsel Shri. S Prabakaran has appeared for the Communist Party of India represented by D.Raja Member of Parliament (Rajya sabha)and has advanced that 8137 medical seats were in the All India Quota and even as per 27% we are entitled to 2197 medical seats which was not considered. However the actually reserved OBC candidates is only 224. After hearing the arguments the the Hon’ble Judges have given Liberty to the petitioner and all of the connected applicants/petitioners to approach the Hon’ble High Court of Madras.
