That’s why our constitutional framers or nationalist given prime and foremost important to UNITY and INTEGRITY to india.further the word FEDERATION purposefully avoided by constituent assembly in order to prohibit the RIGHT TO SECEDE to the states getting disintegrate from the Union. that is the reason Art 1 expressed India as UNION OF INDIA and NOT AS FEDERATION OF INDIA. The main difference between USA and INDIA is, in USA the federation is formed by states and in India states were formed by Union. further more India is centralised govt and holding single constitution, not 50 +1 constitution as in USA. This all is meant for unified India and to avoid future disintegration, with co-existence of unity in diversity…….. thanks and follows.
