[1/29, 23:46] Sivaji: 29-12-21 mahaveer shivaji MHC advocate; REPUBLIC in the preamble: The constitution declare India is a Republic country as it’s head of state is must be elected by abolishing the kingship or monarchy, that is why the sovereign power not lying with head of state in India. England and India both are democratic country but both are not Republic country ( India is Republic and England is not Republic, it’s sovereign head is hereditary Queen ). The framers of constitution aimed to function two separate Executive office one presidential office and another one is primeministeral office under the doctrine of pleasures, but such doctrine was diluted by the Apex court Which resulted in the president office/ head of state become puppet at the mercy of PM office or COM head by PM. The president office tenure is fixed as five years in view of abolishing hereditary sovereign head to the nation. The president being head of state/ nation possessed with limited/ pocket veto power such power was also curtailed by parliament as well as judiciary. that is veto power means the decision of cabinet shall be overthrown by President, if necessary with advisory jurisdiction of supreme court………. thanks and follows…..
