Rajini case State Public Prosecutor Mr.A Natarajan argued that the petitioners should have followed procedures laid down by the Hon’ble division bench in Judgement “G.Prabakaran Vs Superintendent of Tanjore”

Today One Umapathy and Nehrudoss of Dravidar Kazhagam Katchi had filed direction petition to register a case against Actor Rajinikanth. This case came up before Justice Rajamanickam Court in Court hall 47 as item No.39 & 40. State Public Prosecutor Mr.A Natarajan argued that the petitioners should have followed procedures laid down by the Hon’ble division bench in Judgement “G.Prabakaran Vs Superintendent of Tanjore” and they should have not rushed to the court with a plea to register FIRs against actor rajinikanth. State PP also informed the court that Periyar is a great leader and he is the icon of the social reforms in this country but actor rajnikanth says that he had quoted only from some magazine. After hearing both the sides Justice Rajamanickam has found out that there are some procedural violation in filling this petition and not follwing the division bench judgement. Therfore the peititoners counsel withdrawn the petitions.
