NOTIFICATION

In view of decline in Omicron variant/COVID-19 Cases in the State of Tamil Nadu, Hon’ble the Acting Chief Justice has issued the following directions with regard to functioning of the High Court, both at Principal Seat at Madras and

Madurai Bench, w.e.f. 07-02-2022 (Monday), until further orders:

1. Hearing of cases will be on Physical/ Virtual/ Hybrid mode, subject to strict adherence of COVID- 19 safety protocol, such as maintaining social distancing, wearing of mask, frequent hand wash, etc.
2. Bar / Advocates’ Associations and Law Chambers are permitted to be opened, subject to strict adherence of COVID-19 safety protocol.
3. Libraries and Canteens inside the High Court Premises shall remain closed, until further orders.
4. Advocates/Parties-in-person/LitigantS shall ensure appearance before the Court after COVID vaccination.
