[21/03, 11:30] Mohanakrishnan President Mhaa: I moved a miscellaneous petition in CMP No.18729/2023 in CMA No. 1914/2021 challenging the maintainability of CMA against the Order granting interim maintenance passed by the Hon’ble Family Court, taking the stand that the Appellant is entitled to challenge the order only by way of filing CRP. Upon hearing the arguments, on 21.03.2024, the Hon’ble bench consisting of Hon’ble Justice Mr. M.SUNDAR, and Hon’ble Justice Mr. K.GOVINDARAJAN THILAKAVADI, has arrived at their decision that interim maintenace order passed by the Hon’ble family court shall be challenged only by way of a Civil Revision petition Article 227, which will be heard by a single judge, and not by way of a Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.-G.MOHANAKRISHNAN,President, MHAA[21/03, 11:31] sekarreporter1: 👍

Justice M Govindraj directed the CIC to dispose of the pending RTI appeal in a month. He stated that if the Data Protection Bill is to be placed in the ongoing Parliamentary session, then Das’s appeal has to be disposed of within a period of one month from the date of the receipt of a copy of the order.
