28.Accordingly, the Criminal appeal stands allowed and the conviction and sentence imposed on the appellants vide judgment dated 13.07.2018 in SC.NO.267/2016 by the learned III Additional Sessions Judge, Salem, is set aside and the appellants are acquitted of all charges levelled against them. 29.It is reported that the appellants are on bail.
